Raymond and I have been together for a year and a half. I met his parents for the first time
three weeks ago. Tonight I am to meet his older brother, Logan. Logan lives and works in Chicago.
He is in town just for our wedding.
It was 6:45 pm. Raymond's parents left to attend a community awards dinner.
I was told, "They would be returning home sometime after ten o'clock."
Raymond continued to give me details of what would be expected of me.
Shortly after his brother arrived, I was to enter the dining room from our bedroom.
The two of them will be in the living room.
I would be introduced to his brother, dressed in my finest.
" I want you to make me proud! " Raymond concluded.
I nodded my head in agreement. Knowing and accepting what he meant.
